17th Royan Award announces winners

TEHRAN, Aug. 27 (MNA) – The 17th Royan Research Award to be held on 31 Aug. has named it winners in both international and national categories.

Royan International Research Award  founded by the late director of Royan Institute, Dr. Saeid Kazemi Ashtiani, aims at encouraging the researchers and appreciation of their efforts. This annual award is a prize given to five prominent research projects in the field of Regenerative Medicine, Stem Cell Biology and Technology and other related subjects.

The winners will be invited to take part in Award Ceremony on the designated day so as to be granted their awards. Each winner will be rewarded with a certificate, the symbol of Royan Award and the amount of $5000. 

The 17th edition of this annual event has announced five winners in the international section and three winners in the national section. Most research papers have been submitted from United States, China, India, Iran, Australia, Canada, Italy, UK, Turkey and Egypt.

International winners:
